Harryman House: Dining With History

March 29th, 2013 • Posted by Anna Holcomb • Permalink

If you have ever dined in the cabin, you may have wondered about the history behind the room. The rustic cabin walls are all that remain of the true four room log cabin from which Samuel Harryman and his wife Elizabeth ran a grocery store, saddlery and drug store.

During the building’s first renovation in the 1980’s, the cabin walls were discovered by the builders and were restored to their original charm. The cabin provides an intimate dining experience with soft lighting and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a cold winter night.

Next time you dine with us, ask for a history sheet about the restaurant and make a request for the cabin in your next reservation.
